Tenth Doctor :: The Burden of 900 Years

My second fan work for Doctor Who, and I feel kind of proud of it. I love his expression in this scene and capturing it in paint was a thrill. A bit of history behind this piece. I'd actually wanted to make my first Doctor Who fan art to this moment, because it was two artists' paintings of this same scene (nollaig.deviantart.com/art/The… and girl-on-the-moon.deviantart.co… which helped introduce me to Doctor Who when I first researched it back in 2010. Their work is so stunning, so making this was extra special. I loved making a proper painting to such an iconic scene. Tenth Doctor ftw!
